State Level Police Recruitment Board Andhra Pradesh is going to announced in Recruitment Notification 2017 for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspectors Posts in Civil, AR, SAR CPL, APSP, SPF, SFO Men & Women Posts, Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment to official Website at www.appolice.gov.in

The date of birth accepted by the SLPRB is that entered in the Secondary School Certificate or Matriculation or an equivalent examination certificate. No other document relating to age like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, service records and the like will be accepted

The requisite educational qualification, age, physical standards, procedure to be followed for selection etc. are given below. The candidates must read the instructions given in this notification as well as “instructions for filling the application form” carefully in their own interest.

AP Police Sub Inspectors (SI) Age Limit

For SCT SI Civil - Men / Special Protection Force (SPF) / SI Civil Women Posts - The Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) Sub Inspectors of Police (SI) Posts Applicants Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years

For Station Fire Officers (SFO) - APSLPRB SFO Posts Applicents Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years

Educational Qualification - The candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2017 a Degree awarded by any University in India, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provisional Act of State or of any institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2017, he/she must have passed Intermediate or any other examination recognised by the State Government as being equivalent to Intermediate and should have studied Degree.

Physical Standards - The candidates should meet the following requirements

For SCT Sub Inspectors (SI) in Civil Men & Station Fire Officers (SFO) Posts
  • Height - Must not be less than 160 cms.
  • Chest - Must not be less than 80 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 3 cms.
For SCT Sub Inspectors (SI) Civil Women
  • Height - Must not be less than 152.5 cms
  • Weight - Must not be less than 40 kgs
NOTE - Provided that in the case of candidates belonging to aboriginal tribes in the agency areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Mahaboobnagar, Adilabad, Warangal and Khammam districts where the reserved quota could not be fully utilised for want of sufficient candidates possessing the requisite physical standards, the physical standards shall be relaxed as specified below

For SCT Sub Inspectors (SI) in Civil Men & Station Fire Officers (SFO) Posts
  • Height - Must not be less than 160 cms.
  • Chest - Must not be less than 80 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 3 cms
For SCT Sub Inspectors (SI) Civil Women
  • Height - Must not be less than 150 cms
  • Weight - Must not be less than 38 kgs

Eye Sight - Visual Standards required for the above selection shall be as follows

Application forms - The AP Police Sub Inspectors (SI) Posts Eligible Candidates must apply in the Application Form devised by the Board for the examination, which can be downloaded from website www.apstatepolice.org in the recruitment folder. They are requested to go through the notification thoroughly and it is available on the website. The application form and notification are not issued from any police office.

Selection Procedure - Candidates who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test will be required to appear for a written examination
