State Level Police Recruitment Board Andhra Pradesh (SLPRBAP) is Annonce Emplyment Notification for Recruitment of Sub Inspectors of Police & Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police Various Vacancy Posts. invites application through Online mode only in the prescribed proforma to be made available on Website www.recruitment.appolice.gov.in from 23-09-2016 at 1000 hours to 24-10-2016 at 1700 hours for the following posts. The Candidate will be required to submit (Upload) a copy of photo, signature and
community certificate (for BC/SC/ST candidates) while submitting Online Application Form.

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional and subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

The Preliminary Written Test will be held on 27.11.2016( Sunday) Paper-I from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM (3 hours) and Paper-II from 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM on the same day. The registered candidates may download their Hall Ticket from the website 10 days before the date of Preliminary Written Test.

Age Limit

SCT Sub Inspectors (SI) of Police / Reserve Sub Inspectors (ASI)- Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on 1st July, 2016

Deputy Jailor (DJ) in Prisons in (Men) - Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2016 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1995.

Assistant Matron (AM) in Prisons - Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 1st July, 2016 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1991 and not later than 1st July, 1995

Educational Qualification

SCT Sub Inspectors (SI) of Police / Reserve Sub Inspectors (ASI) -The candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2016, a Degree awarded by any University in India, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provisional Act of State or of any institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2016, he/she must have passed Intermediate or any other examination recognised by the State Government as being equivalent to Intermediate and should have studied Degree.

Deputy Jailor (DJ) in Prisons & Assistant Matron (AM) in Prisons - The candidate must, as on 1st July, 2016,possess a Degree awarded by any University in India, established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provisional Act of State or of any institution recognised by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualification.

Physical standards - The candidates should meet the following requirements

SCT Sub Inspectors of Police / Reserve Sub Inspectors

Men
  • Height - Must not be less than 167.6 centimeters.
  • Chest - Must not be less than 86.3 centimetres round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 centimetres.
Women
  • Height - Must not be less than 152.5 centimeters.
  • Weight - Must not be less than 40 Kgs
NOTE - Provided that in the case of candidates belonging to aboriginal tribes in the agency areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari districts where the reserved quota could not be fully utilised for want of sufficient candidates possessing the requisite physical standards shall be relaxed as specified below

Men
  • Height - Must not be less than 160 centimeters.
  • Chest - Must not be less than 80 centimetres round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 3 centimetres.
Women
  • Height - Must not be less than 150 centimeters.
  • Weight - Must not be less than 38 Kgs.
For Deputy Jailor in Prisons in (Men)
  • Height - Must not be less than 168 centimeters.
  • Chest - Must not be less than 87 centimetres round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 centimetres
For Assistant Matron in Prisons
  • Height - Must not be less than 153 centimeters
  • Weight - Must not be less than 45.5 kgs
